Fall semester student exchange applications are now available
Student exchange programs provide valuable opportunities to students to step out of their comfort zones, adapt to culturally unfamiliar or diverse situations and interact with different learning resources and teaching approaches. These programs can help students gain the ability to perceive challenges as a way to grow, which is vital to success in any career they choose, while allowing them to connect to a wider variety of social and cultural circles and thus to expand their perspective. Participating in an exchange program is, therefore, a great way for students to discover their strengths and weaknesses.
The Middle East Technical University Student Exchange Program provides an opportunity for METU Northern Cyprus Campus and Ankara Campus students to be an exchange student for one or two semesters. Students wishing to attend the Exchange Program for the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year can submit their applications via Intranet by filling out an ‘online student petition form’ between 19 and 30 July 2021. The ‘Campus Exchange’ option must be selected to indicate the reason for application. Applications submitted after the deadline or do not include the required ‘Campus Exchange’ option will not be reviewed. Applicants wishing to stay in the METU Ankara dormitories must check the ‘Dormitory’ option. Results of applications will be announced by the Registrar’s Office.
